The provinces of Bulgaria are the first level administrative subdivisions of the country. Since 1999, Bulgaria has been divided into 28 provinces which correspond approximately to the 28 districts, that have existed before 1987.
54 SU St.Ivan Rilski is high school of foreign languages and information technology-the biggest in the area and one with the highest rate of students’ acceptance to college. Eighty-three qualified teachers work tirelessly to improve the quality of education and make the school attractive territory for their 1160 students of different nationalities. The languages taught are English, German and Russian. Students choose to study two of them. English and German have been introduced as the first foreign language from the first grade. In high school some subjects such as history, physics,biology and cycle Philosophy are taught in English. Our priority is to maintain the good image of the school by keeping its high standards of education.
